The State of the Trading Nation 2020
Quenching the thirst of attendees at ‘The State of the Trading Nation 2020’ a.k.a. the annual congress of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 2 October was Haage Natural Mineral Water. This annual highlight of the commercial calendar was held at Vabalava in Telliskivi Creative City and focussed on topics including the latest trends in trade and commerce, VAT on foodstuffs and the labour force.
Sharing their ideas, visions and inspiration at the event were job satisfaction expert Tiina Saar-Veelma, Ekspress Group director Hans H. Luik, The Next Big Thing futurist Will Hingham, Estonian Traders Association CEO Nele Peil and others.
The award for Trade Deed of the Year 2019 was also presented at the congress, which is designed to recognise success stories in the world of commerce and industry and promote successful companies to a wider audience. This year’s winner was Optipro OÜ for the opening of its innovative Zeiss Vision Centre concept store.
