Anu Aun Christmas film for the entire family produced as part of national centenary programme

Haage Natural Mineral Water paid a visit to Apollo Cinema in Tallinn on 4 December for the premiere of Eia jõulud Tondikakul (Eia’s Christmas at Tondikaku), a film for general audiences made by Anu Aun. To this point, the film The Ladybugs’ Christmas was the main choice for domestically produced Christmas entertainment, but now audiences including ages big and small can delight in the exploits of the 10-year-old girl Eia.

The lead character in this feel-good Christmas movie is a city girl named Eia. Her plans take an unexpected twist when she has to spend winter break on a mysterious southern Estonian farm set deep in the forest. Eia has no idea what awaits: she will have to save old-growth forest slated for cutting, bring together two loving people and unravel a closely guarded family secret.

This family movie, made in honour of Estonia’s centenary, reminds us who and what are important in this life.
